For ten years, I have worked with government officials at federal, state, and local levels to make our community a better place to live. As your City Councilman, I will keep fighting for your issues. I have been privileged to serve the great people of our community. I know how city government works, and I will be ready on day one to deliver for you. • Chaired and spearheaded Hillsborough County’s Affordable Housing Task Force

• Negotiated the largest Community Redevelopment Area for East Tampa, creating 1,000 new housing units

• Designed solutions to improve and reduce road congestion

• Demanded accountability from the Tampa-Hillsborough Expressway Authority to eliminate fraud and abuse

• Served on the Aviation Authority to help make Tampa International Airport one of the top airports in the United States

• Championed “Operation Clean Sweep” to rid neighborhoods of vacant lots and abandoned houses known for illegal activities

• Supported the Sheriff ’s Department receiving the necessary funds to serve and protect all the citizens of Hillsborough County

• I will continue to support law enforcement to insure that all citizens are treated with fairness and sensitivity for all communities in the City of Tampa
